• what is ketokrate? •
Ketokrate is a nice orange and white box a shipped to your door. You get 6-8 items on average and in the June box, there were 7. These products are strategically chosen for you to enjoy and continue killing the Keto lifestyle. This service is awesome as well in that there are no contracts and you may cancel at any time. Did I also mention that with each box, you get coupons for the items in the box? How awesome?! I plan to use them…well almost all of them, check out below.

• why ketokrate? •
One of my favorite things about this company is that, obviously, all items are Keto-friendly. When people think of the Ketogenic “diet” they think of meat, cheese, and butter. While these are staples of this lifestyle they are in no way the only things available to eat. In a world of flavored pork rinds and Kerrygold butter, it is nice to know there are companies out there who are dedicated to making our Keto lifestyle both easier to obtain and sweeter to live. Ketokrate also believes in providing products that are gluten and maltitol-free, yay!

Food Alive Flax Cracker – Retail $6.99
I hope you are not a vampire…the garlic in these babies would make you run the other way. Garlic is one of my favorite flavors, but I feel these could scale it back a bit. Now, don’t get it twisted…these will both be bought and eaten again. One can only scoop buffalo chicken dip and pimento cheese on pork rinds and homemade cheese-itz for so long.
Once I tasted these lovelies, I quickly googled them and found that there are multiple flavors. I cannot wait to try them all out and find my favorite to help with my chip and dip urge.
Good Dee’s Blondies Mix – Retail $11.99
I pretty much jumped for joy when I saw these in the Ketokrate. Baked goods are possible in the Keto lifestyle but take a little effort to make. We have not made these yet, but I am practically drooling as I type this post and they will most likely be made tomorrow. I will write more when these blondies have been made and devoured.
Ketokookie – Retail $19.95 for 6 packs with 2 cookies in each
This was my favorite item in this month’s ketokrate. You would not believe how moist these packaged cookies are unless you tried them for yourself! We received the chocolate chip flavor and I could not believe that they only had 1.5g of carbs PER KOOKIE! These kookies are also pretty large, about 3 inches in diameter and over half an inch thick! That means you can eat two of these cookies for only 3g of carbs! I cannot wait to try all the other flavors offered!
The New Primal Maple Uncured Bacon Jerky – Retail $2
I am not a HUGE pork lover, but Steven really enjoyed this one. I took a bite to say I tried it and it was not terrible. Though it is Maple Syrup flavor it is not overly sweet…points for that The New Primal. The size of the stick was also fantastic, it was not just a little sample, this was an actual-sized portion. Kudos KetoKrate!
La Croix – Retail $4 per 8-pack
At entirelyerika, I keep it real and I cannot tell you a lie. These taste like you are drinking perfume. Steven says they taste like a cleaner you are not supposed to ingest and he is surprised we are still alive…a little hyperbolic, but you get it. Ha, we are not a fan.
I think it is safe to say we are not a fan. KetoKrate…no more please, give me Zevia or some flavored water!
Quest Beyond Cereal Protein Bar – Retail $1.99
This was absolutely delicious, I literally had to stop myself from eating the whole thing. I say stop myself because one bar is the equivalent of half my daily carbohydrate intake, roughly 10g of carbs per bar. These are great for a quick meal replacement or sweet treat if you are not super strict with your carb intake.
Another way to eat these it by breaking them up into small pieces and adding into unsweetened almond milk. If you are new to the ketogenic lifestyle or been living the life for a while, you know cereal is pretty much aff limits. This is a nice way to get the sensation of cereal while staying on track.
I am looking forward to buying these by the carton on Amazon. De-lish!
Everly Natural Drink Mix – Retail $12.50
Meh. I want to love this brand because they are all-natural and making a difference in the world with their product. On their site they state:
“For every pouch of Everly sold, we distribute a treatment of life-saving rehydration salts through our non-profit partner, ColaLife. ColaLife uses those funds to provide packets of life-saving rehydration mixes (Oral Rehydration Salts) to mothers in rural Zambia. Those mothers use the rehydration mixes to treat their babies when they’re sick with waterborne disease, saving them from death by dehydration. 1 pouch of Everly = 1 treatment of life-saving rehydration medicine.”
When I mixed this powder with the water, it took a little bit of stirring to get it to a point of drinkability. Once it dissolved, I took a huge swig and was underwhelmed. I didn’t get a huge lemonade nor strawberry taste, it is hard to describe.
I hate that I wouldn’t buy this because I personally just love the taste of cold, plain water and because the company is doing great things for others.
• final verdict •
This was my first Ketokrate and it will not be my last. I cannot get over how large the portions are. The retail total is much more than the price paid for the monthly subscription. Of all the items, I feel that the KetoKookies are the star of the show. The blondies may steal it back when they are made but as of now…kookies all the way!
